The Polaris Compass™

The Polaris Compass™ is a structured methodology built around one simple idea: every teen is different, and their mentorship should be too.

Polaris focuses on six key areas of development that work together to help teens better understand themselves, build confidence, strengthen important life skills, and move toward a future that feels like their own. The compass is the heart of all of our programs.

6 Areas of the Compass

Your teen won't be handed a predetermined curriculum.

Together, we'll tailor their Compass Profile to decide where they want to grow.

IDENTITY | Who am I? ·

SKILLS | What can I learn and how do I learn it? ·

PURPOSE | What matters to me? ·

FUTURE | Where might I go next? ·

COMMUNITY | Where do I belong? ·

WELL-BEING | What helps me function at my best? ·

Our Approach

The Polaris Profile™ gives us a clearer picture of who your teen is right now. Their strengths, interests, challenges, priorities, and the areas where they may want to grow. Parents are part of the process, but teens have a voice in where their mentorship takes them. Not a report card. A starting point!

Step 1: Teen & Parent Reflection

Parent’s and their teen will complete a guided reflection to explore strengths, interests, challenges, and priorities.

Step 2: Discovery Conversation

We meet to explore the story behind the answers, get to know your teen beyond the questionnaire, and understand what matters most to them right now.

Step 3: Build the Polaris Profile

We bring everything together into a personalized profile highlighting strengths, interests, current challenges, and potential areas for growth across the six areas of the Compass.

Step 4: Set the Direction & Create the Mentorship Plan

The teen helps decide what they want to focus on first. Their Polaris Profile™ then becomes the foundation for a personalized mentorship plan built around your teen's goals, interests, and chosen areas of growth.
