Ready to help your teen build confidence, connection, and real-life skills?
Polaris Small Group Mentorship is a 6-week guided mentorship program for teens in Grades 7–9.
Junior high can be a weird time. Friendships change. Confidence can take a hit. School expectations increase. Teens are figuring out who they are while also trying to understand where they fit.
And sometimes, hearing “just be confident” doesn’t help very much.
That’s where Polaris comes in.
In a small, supportive group, teens get the chance to talk, practice skills, try new things, and learn alongside other young people going through many of the same experiences.
The goal isn’t to turn them into someone different. It’s to help them become more confident in who they already are.
-
Strengths, values, interests, self-talk, decision-making, handling mistakes, trying new things, and understanding what makes them unique.
-
Making and maintaining friendships, navigating changing social groups, peer pressure, boundaries, inclusion, and finding places where they feel like themselves.
-
Speaking up, asking for help, handling disagreement, expressing needs, listening, and communicating with friends, family, teachers, and other adults.
-
Organization, motivation, procrastination, managing assignments, routines, asking for support, and finding strategies that work for their brain.
-
Responsibility, problem-solving, making decisions, managing time, taking initiative, and beginning to build the skills that lead to greater independence.
Teens Will Explore:

What Makes the Polaris Group Different?
This isn’t a classroom, and it isn’t therapy.
Teens aren’t sitting through lectures about how they should behave or who they should become.
Each week combines guided conversation, activities, real-life challenges, and opportunities for teens to learn from one another.
Groups are kept intentionally small so every teen has space to participate, connect, and be heard.
