The Polaris Difference
Not Every Star Shines the Same Way.
Every young person has different strengths, interests and ways of learning. Polaris creates supportive experiences that help each one build confidence, develop meaningful skills and find their own way forward.
Every student is unique, yet every student is learning to navigate the same world. Just like every star has its own light and place in the sky, every Polaris student brings their own strengths, experiences, and potential to our community.
Why Polaris Youth Lab
Young people need more than academic support alone. They need opportunities to recognize their strengths, build confidence, develop meaningful skills and form supportive relationships. Parents and families also need practical support, trusted programs and time to rest and reconnect.
Polaris brings these needs together through structured Confidence Labs, strengths-based Learning Labs, personalized one-to-one mentorship and Parent Night Out sessions. Young people gain a place to learn, connect and experience genuine progress, while parents gain trusted support and space to take care of themselves and their families.
Each offering is different, but the purpose is the same: to help young people feel understood and capable while making life a little easier for the people supporting them.

Meet Stephanie Founder/Executive Director
My connection to this work is deeply personal. I struggled academically and socially as a child and also live with ADHD, so I understand how differences in learning, attention and confidence can shape the way a young person sees themselves. As a mother of three, including a child with autism and ADHD, I have experienced these challenges from both a personal and parenting perspective.
These experiences have taught me that struggling in one area does not define a young person’s abilities or potential. Young people grow when their strengths are recognized, their needs are understood and they are given meaningful opportunities to experience success.
For more than five years, I have worked within public education, supporting schools and the people who serve students every day. This has given me a close view of the opportunities and pressures young people and their parents face. This has reinforced my belief that academic achievement is only one part of helping youth thrive.
I created Polaris Youth Lab to give young people a supportive place to discover their strengths, build meaningful skills, develop confidence and find their own direction. In addition to my personal and professional experience, my education in management, human resources and project leadership helps me create programs that are thoughtful, structured and responsive to the real needs of young people and their families.
Different Stars. One Sky.
That's not just our slogan. It's why we’re here.
